Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything you need to know about renting a dumpster from Ranger Waste Management. Still have a question? Just call.

No. The dumpster cannot be legally transported with material above the top of the rim. Overfilled dumpsters create safety hazards on the road and are not permitted by law. Please load evenly and keep all material flush with or below the rim.

Payment must be made before delivery. However, commercial contractors with approved credit will be allowed payment terms. Contact us to discuss commercial account options.

The standard rental period is 7 days. If you need the dumpster for longer, contact us to arrange an extended rental — additional fees may apply for time beyond the standard period.

If we receive your delivery request before 4:00 PM, we will deliver the dumpster the same day. Speed is one of our core values — we work hard to get you what you need when you need it.

There are NO hidden charges. However, please note that the following situations may result in additional costs:

  • Overweight dumpsters (exceeding the tonnage allowance for your container size)
  • Extended rental times beyond the standard 7-day period
  • Extra trip fees if a pickup or delivery must be rescheduled
  • Hazardous materials placed in the roll-off container
  • Damage to the container

We'll always be upfront with you — no surprises.

Our dumpsters are designed so they don't cause damage to a typical asphalt or concrete driveway. However, we recommend placing plywood boards beneath the dumpster to help distribute the weight and avoid any potential risk to your surface, especially for longer rentals or heavier loads.

Yes. Each size includes a weight allowance — the 20 yd includes 4 tons and the 30 yd includes 5 tons. Tonnage over the limit will incur an additional fee of $40 per ton. We'll confirm the allowance for your specific container when you order.
